Fees and General Terms
Our prices are published on our website but we reserve the right to change these prices without notice. Obviously, if you have accepted a treatment plan this will be at the originally quoted price and prices quoted in a consultation will generally override published pricing. We aim to be fair and transparent in terms of our pricing policy.
Our fees do not include additional treatments that are required outside of that discussed in your initial consultation, additional prescriptions for medication you may require (this is uncommon) and fees for treatment that may arise due to complications of aesthetic treatment (such complications are uncommon).
Most of our treatments are VAT exempt due to their use for skin health, skin promotion, and the psychological effects of improved skin form. If this is not the case VAT may be added to your treatment price – you will be informed of this in advance should this be the case.
Payment is expected at the time of treatment. We accept cash and most major credit cards on the day.
Refusal of Treatment
Javaani is a Doctor-led clinic and there are several reasons that a doctor may decide that a treatment is not a suitable option for a particular person. We take many steps to ensure that patients are medically fit to undergo a particular procedure. It is therefore possible that we may advise, in your best medical interests, that intervention is not appropriate. We will also not proceed with a procedure if we feel that your expectations exceed results realistically achievable from the treatment
We do not normally provide aesthetics treatments for anyone aged under 18 years.
Cancellation of Treatment
It is occasionally the case that patients are unable to make a scheduled appointment. We ask that you let us know as soon as possible to avoid disruption to the running of the clinic and so that we can rearrange as appropriate. Whilst we are normally understanding about such situations we reserve the right to refuse service to those that repeatedly do so and patients may forfeit any consultation fees (but not treatment fees) that have been paid in advance.
We take confidentially very seriously and treat your medical information confidentially in the same way that we would with doctor-patient consultation. Therefore we will not discuss your treatment anyone other than yourself unless you specifically authorise us to. The only exception to this is in the unlikely event that we need to provide such information to a regulatory body, law enforcement, or under the direction of a Court Order. We may communicate your information to other health professionals that are involved in your care but this will be with your consent.
During treatment procedures, photographs will be normally be taken and these will become part of your treatment record both for legal purposes and to show you the results of any treatment. They are confidential and will not be used for any marketing / publicity without your express consent. Please note that we may choose to refuse treatment if you decline such photography as they form an important part of your medical record.
We aim to provide a high quality service and complaints are rare. However, if there is an aspect of your treatment that you are not happy with we advise you to discuss this with us directly so that we can address your concerns. However, if you wish to make a formal complaint we normally ask that you make this in writing so that we can provide you with a formal response. This can be sent to our main clinic address as posted on our website or to our general mailbox at email@example.com.
Terms and Jurisdiction
The laws of England and Wales will apply to all interactions between you and Javaani and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
