Aim of Ultrasound cavitation is to reduce fat by melting without leaving any scars. Cavitation uses ultrasonic waves to cause the fat cells to vibrate rather than freezing them. As a result of these vibrations, the membranes of the fat cells burst, breaking down solid fat cells into liquid fat as these cells are weaker compared to the other cells. Fats are broken into fatty acids and glycerol when the fat cells are turned into liquid fat. The glycerol is reabsorbed by the body and used as an energy source, whereas the fatty acids are treated as a waste product and removed from the body through the lymphatic system.
It is likely that client will need multiple sessions of Ultrasound Cavitation to achieve their desired results, because the cells within the target area can reabsorb the liquid fat between treatments. With the combined use of Bipolar RF and TriPolar RF technology cavitation technology, our cavitation technology emits ultrasonic frequencies between 1MHz to 5MHz which are extremely penetrative and predetermined.
What happens during an Ultrasound Cavitation Session?
Ultrasound gel is applied to the area then the Ultrasound applicator is applied which enhances the effectiveness of the treatment and reduces discomfort for the client. The applicator is moved in circular motions continuously around the treatment area. One session lasts 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the area. The Ultrasound Applicator uses low-level frequencies that are perfectly safe for the body. Results are potentially long-lasting, though this may depend on how many sessions the client undergoes.
During the treatment, the client will feel a buzzing sensation when the Ultrasound applicator is placed onto the skin.
